“Glory Days!”

” I had a friend he was a big baseball player, back in high school, he could throw that speedball by you, make you look like a fool.”
Our 2013 season begins Saturday. We have been practicing outside this week so we can get used to the weather. We received our uniforms and our bp jerseys. It’s Go Time! This is what I worked so hard for. Heading down south Saturday morning. Bring it on. I’m pumped! Here we go!

Excellence in Work-“The quality of a person’s life is in direct proportion to their commitment to excellence, regardless of their chosen field of endeavor.” Vince Lombardi

Motivation, drive and extreme desire are several of the qualities that a high school baseball player must obtain or develop in order to take his game to the next level. Beginning with off-season workouts during the winter, and continuing through the preseason, the student-athlete must stay physically fit both mentally and physically, constantly setting and attaining personal goals that he establishes for himself. College baseball season creeps up quickly. I get psyched when I hear the “ping” of the BBCORs as I throw countless practice balls during BP in the cage. It’s almost “Go Time!” Can’t wait to hear “play ball!”

This time of year we make sure we get our swings in. 3 or 4 pails of practice balls, probably 100 swings or better per session. Prepping for opening day. Keep working hard. We strive to be noticed by prospective college coaches. ” College Baseball Placement Services”
